Last year it was won by Bob Astley of plot 23 hopefully he will be available to defend his title! The Golf Day will be sometime during August and will consist of Bacon Rolls and Coffee at Thorpeness Golf Club followed by a Stapleford, team, nearest the pin and longest drive competition. A max handicap of 24 is allowed so you are a 25 to 28 handicapper you can play however you will play off 24. Thorpeness is a challenging course and as always will be a good test of our Golfing Skills or.... not!! After the Round we will reconvene back at Cliff House in the New Bar and Restaurant for a meal, prizes and a few beers where you can recount your stories of woe and gorse bushes!!
